FAQ
Why does my lawn dry out so fast in sandy soil?
Sand holds very little water, so a single long watering session drains below the roots before the grass can drink. The fix is scheduling, not just more water: shorter, more frequent cycles keep moisture in the root zone where it counts. We program the controller around your soil so coverage stays even.
Does the salt air damage irrigation heads?
Coastal conditions are harder on equipment, so we choose parts that hold up and place heads to limit constant salt exposure. Routine audits catch wear early, before a clogged or corroded head leaves a dry patch.
Do you handle backflow and permits?
Yes, backflow prevention and any required permits are handled in-house.
“Thorpe Landscaping was recommended to us by our builder and we couldn't be happier with our beautiful yard. Their in-house designer drew up our plan and provided us with 3-D renderings. Then the entire team worked very hard to bring our vision to life.
They not only did the backyard, but also the sides and the front as well as french drains and irrigation. We absolutely love everything and would highly recommend Thorpe Landscaping for any and all of your landscaping needs.”
